Each hanging delight is lovingly handmade by Shirley Vauvelle . No two pieces are ever the same, as Shirley believes that every pattern has to be spontaneous. The textures and patterns are embossed into the suface of the clay . Bisque fired and coloured with under glazes and oxides, then re- fired. Pieces are finished of with objects from Shirley 's collections of feathers, wave worn finds or vintage buttons.
